Privacy Policy
Mazzocco for Phoenix
Effective Date: April 18, 2026
The Short Version
We collect what you give us (donations, volunteer signups, email and text opt-ins) plus site analytics and — if you consent — data from the Meta Pixel for campaign advertising. Strictly necessary cookies are always on; all other cookies only load after you opt in. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time from the Cookie Settings link in the footer. We never sell your data. To opt out, request your records, or have us delete what we have, email randyc@mazzoccoforphoenix.com.
Information We Collect
- Website visitors: Name, email, and ZIP code submitted through signup forms. Aggregate traffic data (page views, referrers) via Super Analytics, which is cookieless and does not identify individuals. If you opt into Marketing cookies, the Meta Pixel also collects your IP address, browser information, and the pages you visit on our site.
- Donors: Name, address, email, phone, employer, and occupation. Arizona law (A.R.S. § 16-926) requires employer and occupation on donations over $100. ActBlue processes all payments — we never see or store credit card numbers.
- Volunteers: Name, contact information, availability, and role preferences.
- Voter data: Publicly available voter registration data from Maricopa County, under A.R.S. § 16-168. We do not access confidential voter information (SSN, date of birth, state ID, or protected email addresses). Voter data is used only for campaign purposes.
How We Use Your Information
- Process and acknowledge donations, and comply with Arizona campaign finance reporting (A.R.S. Title 16)
- Coordinate volunteer activities and campaign events
- Send campaign updates and fundraising messages (with your consent)
- Voter contact and get-out-the-vote operations
- Deliver and measure campaign advertising on Meta (Facebook and Instagram), only where you have consented to Marketing cookies
Cookies and Tracking
Our website uses cookies in four categories. You choose which categories are active when you first visit the site, and you can change that choice at any time from the Cookie Settings link in the footer.
- Strictly necessary — keep the site working (Super.so session, ActBlue checkout). Always on; these do not require consent.
- Analytics — Super Analytics (cookieless, aggregate) plus optional cookies that help us see how visitors move through the site. Off by default.
- Preferences — remember choices you make on the site, like your language or page region. Off by default.
- Marketing — the Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram), which helps us reach District 4 voters with relevant campaign ads and measure whether those ads work. The Pixel sends your IP address, browser information, and the pages you visit on our site to Meta Platforms, Inc. Off by default.
The Meta Pixel only fires after you accept Marketing cookies. Our consent records are managed by Cookiebot (a Usercentrics service); you can request your consent ID and date from us at any time. For Meta's handling of this data, see https://www.facebook.com/policy.php.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. California residents and anyone else who wants to withhold data from ad platforms can click Do not sell or share in the cookie banner.
Information Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with advertisers outside the consent flow described above. We share data only in these cases:
- As required by law. Donor information is reported to the Phoenix City Clerk as part of campaign finance filings. These reports are public records.
- Service providers. We use third-party platforms to operate the campaign: ActBlue (donations), Mailchimp (email), Google Forms (form submissions), Switchboard (SMS), Super.so (website hosting), Cookiebot by Usercentrics (consent management), and Meta Platforms, Inc. (advertising, only if you consent to Marketing cookies). These providers handle your data under their own privacy policies.
Text Messages
If you opt in to campaign text messages, you consent to receive recurring campaign and fundraising messages from Mazzocco for Phoenix.

- Message and data rates may apply
- No messages before 9 a.m. or after 9 p.m. MST

Data Security
We use encrypted communications and restrict access to sensitive data. Only authorized campaign staff can access personal information, and only for campaign purposes.
Data Retention
- Donor records: Retained for 4 years after the election, as required by Arizona law
- Other data: Retained for the duration of the campaign and deleted within 90 days after the campaign concludes, unless otherwise required by law
